Soft density is used for people requiring foot relief due to diabeties, arthritics, and for others requiring a soft cushion to relieve pressure. Very soft – Good for Diabetic or Rheumatoid Arthritis use. Ideal for elderly, diabetic and arthritic patients who require special consideration. Patients adapt easily and comfortably to the mild functional control while the correct biomechanical position is maintained.
Medium density orthotics are used by most people who require support for various problems and who have never worn a support before. These are the most common orthotics sold and are Designed for ‘average’ patients with general orthotic needs.
Firm density orthotics are used by those who have worn out their old device and require a strong support. They are ideal for athletic people who require firm control. Also suitable for overweight patients. They are considered Semi-rigid.
