I love love these sandals. I do wish they would last lot longer. I do wear them all summer long.
Advantages: Absolutely perfect for my flat feet. Even my balance is much better. Highly recommend it.
Disadvantages: The inner rubber last only one season. It does get to soft and completely loose the support and that part should be more solid and FIRM. Thank you.

My rating and problems with these Vionics has nothing whatsoever to do with the Orthotic Shop, which provided great customer service and quick delivery! The problem is with these shoes. I've worn the Orthaheels of this same style for many, many years and have almost every color in them. I love, love, love the comfort and perfect fit of them and, living and working where I do, wear them daily. Each pair fit perfectly from the first time I put them on my feet, and they were consistent in fit. My Navy blue ones were the first purchased and most frequently worn, and just finally wore out. So, knowing Orthaheel sold out to Vionic since my last purchase (which may tell you how long I've been wearing Orthaheel), and from the photo appearance of the Vionic flip flops, I stupidly assumed the company continued on with the same footbed and straps on the Tide II. Seriously, why mess with a perfect thing?? So, this is my first and last pair of Vionics. The footbed is not nearly as comfortable as the original Orthaheel, nor does it fit my foot nearly as well. Also, the now very wide patent leather decorative pieces on the straps of the Navy flip flops are black! I couldn't tell the width change or the color from the online photo before purchasing. Why would you put black on a Navy blue very casual flip flop? And if you're going to do that, at least describe it so one can tell before purchasing. If I'd wanted black on them, I'd have ordered black flip flops. Also, the center of the straps, the square patent leather piece above the thong strap, is much too big and wide, and the back edges cut into my big toes. The Orthaheel didn't put a leather piece in that spot at all, but securely stitched the slim, strong cloth strapping in that area. It is much more comfortable and, in my personal opinion, looks much better than that big chunky piece of patent leather stuck up there. I will continue to wear my Orthaheels until they are all worn out, but they'll never be replaced again with Vionics. There are too many other comfortable flip flops now available with good high arch support to pay this much for discomfort. I suspect many of those 5* reviews came from people who never wore the original Orthaheels. Change isn't always for the better; some things just need to be left alone. I would think Vionic bought the Orthaheel product originally because it had proven to be a great seller, not because they thought they could improve it. I didn't return these to Orthotic Shop, but will see if anyone else wants them or will donate them.
Advantages: None, in my opinion.
Disadvantages: Uncomfortable footbed fit;
Too much patent leather on a very casual shoe;
Leather piece attached above thong strap increases discomfort, particularly with certain movements.

These are my fifth or sixth pair of these sandals and the only reason I had to splurge on a new pair was because our new puppy ate through the strap of both my indoor and outdoor pairs. Then we went on vacation and I work other sandals and ended up blisters. I am a devoted fan!

They arrived so fast I was able to wear them to church on Easter Sunday- so beautiful and comfortable I was able to sing all morning!
