These insoles are phenomenal! A heat or wear molded insole for less than $50! I've paid over $200 for custom made versions that aren't as nice as these. Granted, my feet are fairly normal, but honestly if you think that something molded by yourself will meet your needs these are an excellent choice.
Advantages: Heat or Wear molded, decent cushioning
Disadvantages: May not be able to support significantly unusual feet, they may not work for you.

The Sole insoles that I bought were suggested by my foot doctor. I have tried the suggestion of warming them in the oven to help the fit however it is still very painful to wear them. So far I have been unable to us them. I am very disappointed as I am havong a lot of problems with my feet. I have tried early in morning before my feet get sore and they still hurt a lot.
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: The Hurt. Even when I try to use them early on the morning. Very frustrated.

Love these insoles and love this store. They have the best price and their customer service is great. I ordered 3 insoles but box came with only 1. I emailed them and they had 2 more out immediately. We'll continue to be loyal customers!
Advantages: The insoles are comfy for both hubby and me.
Disadvantages: None

Advantages: Have been using these for several years. They last a long time. Now my hubby is wearing them. Have them in my hiking, walking and pickleball shoes. Cannot go with out them our my feet will ache. I always hear mine. My hubby just puts them in as is.
Disadvantages: I don't know of any except wish they were a bit less expensive.

Ordered the SOLE Signature EV Softec Ultra Custom Insoles because my previous pair wore through on my big toes. The ones sent to me have been working great in my work boots. The graphic is different but not important to me.
Advantages: Form fits to your foot after heating them up to around 160F. (make sure to watch them closely or they will de-laminate on you)
Disadvantages: Most ovens have a low heating of 170F so watch the color indicator closely.
Come a little long so trimming might be necessary depending on your shoe shape.

I bought these to put in my new work boots. They are about the same as more expensive brand at specialty shoe store. We compared them side by side, and the only difference detected was the $20.00 in price. The particular insoles I picked offer the most arch support. These last the life of the shoe, and are a necessity. These are not what you get at the local drugstore.
Advantages: Good value. Quality product, at 60% the cost of others.
Disadvantages: Trim carefully, it's easy to take off too much.

Good support, but I don’t recall reading about the different ways to form the insoles to fit.
Advantages: Support!!!!support!!!!support!
Disadvantages: Oven method sounded daunting haven’t tried this yet. Wearing them to form them to fit.

I have only worn them for 2 days so I can't say how they will be in the long run. But they were very comfortable and I think they will be good for my feet.
Advantages: I won't be wearing my orthotics I got from a podiatrist many years ago which are solid plastic.
Disadvantages: They cut down on the space for my feet in the shoe. My second toes (longer than my big toes) were always against the toe of the shoes. This tends to make my toes sore. I will buy a half size larger shoe to compensate for this.

I was discouraged that SOLE changed the composition to cork. I purchased 2 pair from REI and within four months, the inserts started to breakdown. I returned them and went to Superfeet. I needed high arch support so these didn't work out. I went online and found the original SOLE vinyl inserts from Orthotic Shop. I was elated. I ordered a set and true to the picture and description, these were a match for my older long lived sets. I was so happy about this discovery, I ordered a second pair.
Advantages: Tough and resilient materials make for a long life. High arch support matches my foot requirement.
