The Formfit Night Splint from Royce Medical is designed to impart an effective passive stretch for plantar fascitis symptoms located on the bottom of the foot. Designed with comfort in mind, this model features thick padding throughout the shell and straps to control the amount of stretch necessary for effective treatment. The straps impart up to a 10 degree dorsiflexion stretch at the ankle. The night splint can be ordered with or without a non-slip tread that adds safety when getting out of bed at night. In addition, the padding features a washable Lycra covering that is cool against the skin and easily washable - simply remove the liner and hand wash. An additional wedge that fits under the front of the foot to increase the effectiveness of the stretch is also available for purchase. Surprisingly comfortable I've been using this splint for about a week. First night was a little uncomfortable, but I figured out I had ankle strap a little too loose so foot could slip around. Once I got it adjusted, I've been able to sleep through the night waking up with no pain!

Glad I bought it! Well made device that does seem to be helping me. Fits well and being able to tighten the angle is a big plus to me. One small negative is that the edges of the openings in the plastic back of the device are very sharp. Just have to be careful not to slide a finger along it.

Out of everything I have done for my plantar fasciitis, this has been the most helpful. I wish I would have gotten something like this 8 years ago!!
