I have been searching for years for shoes that fit, resigning myself to wear men's double-wides, which were too narrow but the best I could get locally. I'm so happy I found your site! The Mt. Emey 9302 Womens Comfort Shoe was the first shoe I saw on this site, and I loved it instantly. The shoes fit well; there is nothing pinching, gouging, or poking; and my toes are blissfully able to spread out. I inherited wide feet with narrow heels, so my feet often try to stage escapes from footwear. These shoes stay on my feet, and my heels don't pop out when I walk. My metatarsals collapsed about 40 years ago (it feels like walking on rocks), my arches collapsed about five years ago (ow!), and my feet went from 3E to 5E and from 8-1/2 to 9 in less than a year (now I'll never be able to wear Cinderella's slippers). Finding a shoe to deal with these problems has been hard. These shoes, plus custom orthotics, have done the seemingly impossible. I'm not sure how I found your site but I'm grateful I did. I've sent your link to relatives and friends with wide feet. If there are any that can also accommodate high arches, I have a friend in need.
Advantages: The shoes are sturdy without looking clunky. It was easy to lace them to keep my narrow heels from popping out with each step. I just received custom orthotics, and they slid right in with no problems. For a while, Amazon carried 5E shoes, but they all cost between $150 and $250. The ones I bought here are around $100 and look a lot nicer.
Disadvantages: The shoes felt too small at first, but after a few days the material seemed to relax and stretch.
Ground delivery service is more affordable, but it took 2 weeks for the shoes to arrive. The link to track delivery time was a good idea, but I could not find anywhere which delivery service was being used and just kept guessing until I found the one the site was setup to track, and the site required me to download some software to get the tracking information, which I refused to do.
