The surgeon that performed my ankle reconstruction told me to use these. I installed them in two new pairs of New Balance walking shoes. They work well and helped me transition to a normal walking gait. Since then I have acquired a total of 5 sets which have been installed in some older shoes. They also work well.
Advantages: They work to evenly distribute my weight over my foot in a uniform manner. My shoes size went from a 10 to an 11 due to swelling from the surgery. As my feet returned to something like normal, I was still able to use the foot beds by cutting them down.
Disadvantages: Too damn expensive. I've bought these for as little as $19.95 up to $40 a pair. There are many models to choose from, but I am referring only to these. My understanding is this model has been discontinued so I will likely need to find a replacement model before long.

These are the most comfortable soles I have ever worn. Not only are they comfortable, they seem to be one of the answers to my back pain relief. I put them in my tennis shoes while playing tennis and also in my golf shoes. Their Great.
Advantages: Comfortable, easy on the feet
Disadvantages: None noted.

A friend at work suffers from plantar plantar fasciitis and suggested I try a moldable orthotic insert because I suffered a nasty bout of achilles tendonitis for the last 6 months of last year. That tendonitis never really went away, it just hung around ranging from not being there to annoying to slightly painful. I was also starting to feel pain in my heel, perhaps from my gait being messed up? Anyway, I bought a pair of these, size 12. They fit my New Balance athletic shoes perfectly and were easy to heat up and mold. I'm absolutely amazed! They've largely eliminated the foot pain I was experiencing. I'll be buying a couple of more pairs to have on hand for my other shoes. I cannot recommend trying this solution to see if it helps you. This is some of the best $40 I've ever spent.
Advantages: Excellent fit. Easy to mold. Very comfortable.
Disadvantages: A bit larger than the stock insert on my New Balance 993 shoes, so they fit a bit more snugly than I prefer. You have to keep in mind, though, that I prefer loose fitting shoes, so in reality, they're pretty close to a perfect fit for someone "normal".

Did not get 10% discount.
Advantages: Quick service
Disadvantages: Return has to be in an envelope not a priority box. A few loose ends like this is a little problem. Like if you don’t have the requested item in the size ordered they send another item in it’s place without any explanation. Not good for the customer !

These are the best. They are very firm and the arch is very high. I am now having heel spurs and am wondering if these come in a soft spot for my heel. These are the 3rd pair of soles and I love them.
Advantages: Makes the pain go away
Disadvantages: Doesn't seem to help heel spurs

These have made being on my feet all day tolerable! I followed the instructions to heat up for molding and took the 3 days wearing hours at a time to get used to them and I had no troubles. I would recommend these to anyone the needs extra cushion support for the foot and ankle pains.
Advantages: Heat molding is the way to go, only took a few minutes and was easy. I can slip these into any of my shoes and they work great.
Disadvantages: Haven't found any!

I love these insoles, even more at this price. If you think I am kidding I bought 5 pairs. I have been buying these same insoles from Red Wing Boots, with their logo on them for at least 10 years. Apparently their log makes them cost 35% more.
Advantages: They have really high arch support. They last me 8-10 months wearing them 6-7 days a week normally 12-18 hours a day. I wear size 16, and these insoles are offered all the way to 18's.
Disadvantages: A little pricey, but COMPLETELY worth it if you are on your feet 60-100 hours a week.

I am a professional hairdresser on my feet 12+ hours and I have a condition that affects the plantar fascia. My feet are constantly in pain and soreness. These insoles have been amazing. I have so little to no pain after an entire day on my feet. These are worth every dime!
Advantages: Easy fit for shoes, very Shock absorbing, molds easily to the foot.
Disadvantages: None so far.
